Before We Arrive: Your Simple Preparation Checklist

1. The Perfect Spot:
You don’t need a huge space! Just clear an area roughly the size of a yoga mat (about 6′ x 10′). Our therapists bring everything: a premium, portable massage table, fresh linens, oils, and music. A living room, private office, or even a quiet corner of your bedroom works perfectly.
2. Set the Ambiance:
Help us create a zen den. Dim the lights, reduce overhead brightness, and perhaps light a candle if you like. We’ll handle the rest with our calming music. A quieter environment helps you (and your neighbors) relax deeper.
3. Temperature Check:
Is your room at a comfortable, warm temperature? Muscles relax best when they’re warm. We recommend a slightly warmer setting than usual.
4. A Quick Pre-Visit Chat:
After you book, we’ll give you a call or send a quick text to confirm details, discuss your needs (any sore spots? pressure preference?), and answer any initial questions you have. This helps your therapist arrive perfectly prepared.
Welcome & Setup: Transforming Your Space
Your therapist will arrive promptly at the scheduled time, looking professional and wearing a smile.
- A Warm Introduction: We’ll greet you, confirm it’s a good time to come in, and do a quick shoe change (we often bring clean, indoor-only shoes or socks) to keep your space clean.
- The 10-Minute Transformation: You can simply point us to the cleared space. In about 10 minutes, we will quietly and efficiently set up our full massage station. You can use this time to use the restroom, change, or just relax—your choice!
- The Confidential Consultation: Before we begin, we’ll have a brief chat (just like in a spa) to review your health intake form and confirm your goals for the session. This is your time to point out that stubborn knot in your shoulder or request ultra-gentle pressure.
The Privacy Question: Your Comfort, Our Priority
You have complete control over your environment.
- Where to Wait: You are welcome to relax on your couch or in another room while we set up. We’ll let you know when everything is ready.
- Undressing: Once setup is complete, we will step out of the room to give you absolute privacy to get onto the table and under the sheets. You can undress to your level of comfort (most people leave their underwear on).
- Draping: You will be securely covered by a sheet and blanket at all times. We only uncover the area we are working on.
During Your Session: Unplug in Your Own Sanctuary
This is your time. The only difference between our service and a spa is that you’re in the most comfortable place on earth: your own space.
- Communication is Key: The pressure should always be perfect for you. Please speak up if you’d like more or less pressure, or if the music volume isn’t quite right. This is your session.
- Drift Away: Many of our clients find it even easier to relax in their own familiar environment. Feel free to chat or sink into a silent meditation—we follow your lead.
- Total Security: All our therapists are highly vetted, professional, and insured. Your safety and comfort are our highest priorities.
After the Massage: The Graceful Exit
When your session is over, we will quietly leave the room so you can slowly get up and dressed in peace. There’s no need to rush.
- Hydrate: We’ll remind you to drink some water to help your muscles recover.
- Pack-Up: Once you’re dressed and ready, simply let us know. We will quickly and discreetly pack all of our equipment away, leaving your space exactly as we found it.
- Payment & Rebooking: We’ll handle any payment (often contactless) and are happy to schedule your next visit before we leave. Then, we’ll be on our way, leaving you to bask in your blissful “massage coma” and enjoy the rest of your perfectly relaxed day.
